I’ve just quit my job. So, what’s next?

I’m leaving behind a comfortable corporate life—working with smart and nice people, stable paychecks, and other perks.

Now, I’m diving into the cold waters 🥶 of entrepreneurship… returning to my roots.
I had some choices and plenty of time to think about them.

Why?

  1. The business world and corporate jobs will look very different in a few years. AI is rapidly changing things, and this will only accelerate 🚀
  2. Many jobs will disappear, and many new ones will emerge.
  3. Relying on past experiences will hold me back. So, I need to invest in learning new tools and technology (yes, AI!) for future leverage.
  4. I believe it’s the best time in the last 20 years to start a new business.

My plan:

  1. Dive into uncertainty. Done ☑
  2. Discover. Learn and invest in myself intensely. In progress.
  3. Build new things fast → Test and Learn → Scale or change direction (also fast).

For sure, I will make mistakes—it’s the only way to learn and grow during times of uncertainty. 🌱

I will do it not to regret missed opportunities later.

I’ll write about my journey, learnings, insights, and a bit about Decathlon.

From time to time, I’ll send you friendly letters with my experiences, tricks, successes, and failures. I love writing about E-commerce, Productivity, AI, Product, and Team Management.

In 2008, I did something similar.
I left my comfort zone to dive deep into the e-commerce topic and never regretted it.

Now, I’m ready to embrace the next big change. Let’s see where this new adventure takes me!
The only guaranteed thing is that it will be fun and not boring. 🙂

Wish me luck! 🍀

P.S.
And hey, I’m open to discussing business partnerships.
If you are building something cool and need to team up with an experienced leader in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Team, and Product Management, I’m here.

Let’s have a virtual coffee to discuss possible cooperation.

The photo I used in the post is from one of my travels. It symbolizes a new path for me 🛣️.
Even though I’m certain it won’t be a straightforward one 😄.
