The tournament I had prepared for all year ended too quickly for me. On the first point of the third game, I felt a familiar snap in my heel and was taken to the hospital. But this post isn’t about that (I had surgery, I’m recovering, all will be fine); it’s about team care and support.

The guys from NOVA. Kyiv Ultimate Club were always there. Some took me to the hospital, others met me at the airport, many called, visited, checked on me, and even brought me a pie.

The most touching part? After I was discharged, the team transferred an amount to my account that covered all my medical expenses—without me asking for anything.
