The intensity of defense and defenders’ dedication is the key difference between World and our local Championships.

Most of the time, getting a pass is quite challenging. You constantly feel the defender’s breath nearby and the threat of a jumping interception. In these moments, it’s not uncommon to accidentally take a hit to the side or the face.

Still, I find tight games against highly committed opponents much more relatable, engaging, and exciting.
