MY ID

Self-identification is probably the most important question for anyone. It’s what brings order to the chaos of life, giving us a core set of goals and a clear direction.

So, here’s how I see myself and why…

Entrepreneur
I’m truly fascinated by the magic 🪄 of creating value for others and exchanging that value. I’ve launched a handful of businesses. Some were mistakes, but they provided invaluable experience. Others, along with the lessons learned, also brought some other rewards. Through it all, I’ve always seen myself as an entrepreneur and a builder.

E-commerce Professional
I am passionate about Digital, AI and E-commerce.
I began my retail career in 2003 and launched my first E-commerce startup in 2007. You may know me from my role as Chief Digital Officer at Decathlon Czech Republic. I’m passionate about building self-organized teams and bringing together smart individuals to achieve big goals.
Magically, after working for 6 years in a large corporation (100,000 people), I didn’t lose my entrepreneurial skills. On the contrary, I actively improved and enhanced them.
Here’s a brief overview of my story and career.

Athlete
I’ve been into sports my whole life, with ultimate frisbee being my main passion for 20 years at the highest level. My top achievement is bronze at the European Championship, and I’m proud to have founded UFDF and Nova Ultimate Club. I’ve also seriously pursued basketball, badminton, canoeing, tennis, disc golf, running, and hiking.

Introvert
I speak little and prefer staying in my own thoughts, observing rather than being around people. This limits my social interactions, but it also gives me a unique perspective on people — what drives them and how they act. I think I’m a good listener, and I enjoy it more than speaking.
Many of my European friends call me Dimmi. I’ve always liked it, and recently, a stranger in a hostel told me that “dimmi” means “tell me” in Italian. I think it perfectly fits my identity. Dimmi tutto, amico!

Minimalist and Epicurean
I believe happiness is peace of mind, harmony, and moderate, reasonable pleasures found in simple and accessible things like sports, walks, books, travel, meaningful work, and so on.

Stoic
Those who know me would say I can control my emotions and stay calm, focusing on what I can control and accepting what I can’t. I value resilience, rational thinking, and emotional strength, aiming for inner peace rather than reacting to life’s challenges. I always look for meaning, even in challenges.

Learner
I love life, which makes me curious about everything related to it. That’s why I’m interested in history, philosophy, and psychology.

Traveler
I feel truly happy when I’m in new places. Sometimes, I practice solo traveling.

My core value is freedom — in all its forms.
